IS THE WOT 15 INCH COIL FOR THE EXPLORER II BETTER THAN THE MINELAB 10 INCH STOCK COIL?

It depends on the type of hunting you do. For the beach, definitely. Likewise for the woods and farm fields. But for trashy sites like maybe parks, playgrounds, and schoolyards you would get better target separation with the stock coil or a smaller one.

In alot of cases yes, when I first got mine I tried it for a little while and put the stock coil back on. Later I slowly got the nerve to use it again I wasnt sure at first that it was better and was scared I would miss something. If you read my post below about finding that charm necklace for a friend at a ball park at least 50 years old with tones of trash and by the way my sensitivity was on 4 and I picked up that brass charm @ 8 inches loud and clear the stock would not the charm was stuck in the red dirt on its side and yes there was a ton of trash ETC...
