I have an old whites coinmaster 6000DI pro, that has gotten really glitchy, wont work well unless it is warmed up by the campfire, and then not for very long, is it worth sending in for repair, and if so can you get an improved coil. I have replaced it wqith an MXT but would like to have a second detector around.
Thanks

Don't know the machine, but I'd give Whites a call for their opinion and/or an estimate.

The 6000 Di pro, with the 950 loop was ...... and still is ....... an extremely popular machine. They are still quite verstaile for a multitude of different hunt needs. A great general all-around machine. Maybe not as deep seeking as today's power-houses, but there are still followers of this machine who refuse to update. Whatever price you might pay to get it re-furbished, it is my guess that you would still come ahead, as far as value on the used market. Ie.: I suspect there is still a demand for the 6000 di pro. You could double check that by reviewing the "completed auctions" on ebay. That "completed auctions" section only goes back 30 days though, so you might have to check back a few times, to see if any have closed, the # of bidders vying, the closed price, etc.....

I would say yes.....I know someone here that does a great job on whites machines...let me know if you want to know more.

The 6000 di is still a popular and versatile coin shooter, and I wish the best.I.ve had several 6000 s over last 30 years, still amazed at the prices they sell for
But not to be a ghoul or vandal,I have a Jimmy Sierra spectrum( Factory Chestmount)and the chest mount hardware is damaged. Is in a canvass bag with the d rings part of the bag
If price of repairs to the DI are too expensive Would you sell as a parts detector?I think the metal case is right size for spectrum PC board and could mount display same as the meter in DI..
Best Regards and HH,Monte
