Working in the water at a Beach with rocky bottom

All,

I hunt beaches in Switzerland and the water bottom is always rocky. I purchased a hookah system last fall and I'm going to put in to use in the spring.

The nice thing about rocky bottoms is that the items don't go very far, and often times are on the surface. The problem is when they slide between the rocks and are on end, plus you hav to pry the rocks apart to get the item

Anybody else have experience with rocky bottoms? I cannot use a scoop or shovel there, and I have to go down on the bottom and look for the item. There nice part is the water is crystal clear and little sediment

Yep, I hate them. So I stay away from them as best as possible. As I go further north the rocks get worse here and since I mostly hunt beaches which have been closed for 60 plus years seems every target is in between. I would imagine fresh drop beaches might not be to bad or as bad. Do you use a scoop? I have seen guys in New England (states) use shovels with fairly good luck but they are in shallow waters or wetsand (rocks). Good Luck with the new setup and hope all goes smooth!
