A quick post before I head back to this site to start digging out the iron today. Last week we pulled 13 coppers, a half real and numerous old buttons from a difficult site. Pictured are what I found with the ATP after my friend thought we got it all. I had (2) 1787 coppers and other keepers using one of my other detectors. I went over again this time with the Pro digging small blips. The depth and stability of the ATP are great. Don't ask why I didn't start with the Pro, it's just I have my methods of exploring new places.
These classic head LC's are tough to find. This one is 1813. ATP was hitting targets 8 - 9" (so were my other units). Sometimes the difference audio quality of a signal between different detectors is helpful. My friend who found the most coppers ( lives nearby the site and keeps hammering away while I'm not there with his M6. His privilege.
