WORD WAR II RELICS ON BELGIAN BEACHES...

BOB VALDEZ

New member
This is what I found without being on the look out for them. Hard to believe that 60 years after the war there are still bullet casings on beaches were every single year THOUSANDS of people are... Don't they pick up ANYTHING, lol ???

I hope you like the sight of this ? When I started MD in August 2005 I gave most of those bullets to boys on the beach since they had never SEEN this before...

Bob...thanks for the post and pictures.
Here in the UK we still can find the same wartime items in our fields or on beaches. They are probably those 'lost' by soldiers whilst training.

What do you do with those 'live' rounds, evident in your photos?

We dump our at the nearest police station.

I could tell a tale or two about such finds...but I'll keep that for another day............Matt
