Word has it the Prizm will be getting a new coil this year :-)

There not sure on the size, but the request is for a small coil from the users.
It's suppose to be release sometime this hunting season.
Would be nice if it was a copy of the Blue Max 4" x 6" double D.
Well anyway maybe White's is listening to the users finally.
It's sad when people have to buy the Garrett's 150/250 just to get a variety of coils when the Prizm offers it, and more.

Probably about 3 months ago I started emailing them.(Not customer service either)
First reply to letter:

Just got off the phone with the factory and the distributor and there are no plans for any loops to be made for the Prizm's other than those already in existance. Don't know who you talked to but the way your letter was written it seems to me that it didn't come from the factory since the molding of the coils would be the least of their problems.

the person I talked to was Steve Howard.
I also talked to the factory. I spoke to one of the girls that answers the phone. It was about a question regarding one of the other White's detectors, and she said that she didn't hear anything either, but it's not saying there can't be.
Well I guess the only thing I can say is time will tell.
I only hope that White's isn't giving some song and dance regarding new coils..
Well let's give it a chance and hope it's true.
If not then I apologize.
You could alway send Steve an email and see what your response is.
