woooooooohoooooooo what an addition i got to my collection today

Thanks to a diggin buddy of mine finding this piece one day hear in md while we were hunting together:twodetecting:......he said one day he might sell it:yikes:.....i immediately said i'd like to be the buyer:please:.....since we were together when he found it........and thats right...... he called..... and tonight i am the proud owner of this beauty:super:.......may not seem much to those who have a big collection.....but to me and my little collection it's a top prize:wiggle:........and will be displayed proudly

By the way... with that particular item, you have an advantage which a lot of collectors don't have.

The advantage is, you know for certain where that eagle-breastplate in your collection REALLY came from. Please mark it somehow, so its history can't ever get lost.

cannonballguy....you are one hundred percent right.....i always photo and document everything i find.......love my relics to death.....i don't have a gigantic collection YET...but the history and location of all my finds is very important to me...as i hope it is to all detectors.....:thumbup:
