I haven't found anything on this except a "plate" may some kind of jointer. Note, one edge on the bottom is not toothed and all are curved about the same as a barrel. This was also found in gold country.

Looks like a curry comb to me other than that I aint got a clue...d2
 
I had never heard of "curry comb"(Ima city boy), so I looked it up, then found pic of an old one. Looks the same to me.

Don't know how old this one is, but another Carpenter's curry comb model, No. 333, was specified for military horse equipment in Union Army regulations of 1861:

WOW! I don't know how you found that. I took a look at the numbers with a 10X loop and they probably are 333.
