The weather is soooooooooo Nice I just had to get out . Sunday I went to my favorite woods for some quiet and digging . Best Find was a little blue Bennington marble , lots of shotgun casings and lead , most of it went in the trash . Saved a coulpe of odd pieces of lead , tiny white thing in pic must be 000 buck shot

Thanks for looking and HH....Terri

Glad you had fun in the Sun.........Felt good didn;t it ???

Count me in on the glad it's Spring opinion. It was a great day today, the bad news is, this job has a way of interfering with my hobby.

You found some nice goodies Terri...and today was a sweet day to do so. I was able to get out for the first time in nearly 2 weeks today... myself.
I am so thankful that the detecting season is now pretty much here in full swing. It brings me such an inner calm...and I can just feel the stress melt away even if only for a short while.
Glad you were able to enjoy today as well. I'm too tired to post tonight...but I will post in the morning hopefully.
PS: that little marble is sweet.

Congrats on the hunt Terri! I really like th old lock, and the marble is cool! Nice day for sure, Beale.

hi echostar, you did good. cool broach and marble [i just love to find marbles too] i'm glad to see someone had some fun in the sun this last weekend. it was misty raining and almost cold down here all weekend. an old hunting buddy called me and wanted to go, saying he hadn't been for quite a while. the poor guy just had to get out. i could see it in his eyes and hear it in his voice! so, not one to turn an old buddy down, braved the rain and cold for a couple of hours, but did have a good day! we found a few musketballs, a couple of old flatbuttons, and some other odds and ends. it didn't set the world on fire, but we had fun!
that's what it's all about - having fun in the sun. good hunt, echostar, keep on gettin' it! hh!

Terri, do you know much about marbles? I dug a bunch in this 1920's dump last year and cant get any info on if any are good or not. here are some pictures if you or anyone recognises any.

Thanks Everybody . I am so glad to be back outdoors diggin !
Going out in a bit to hunt , hoping for some decent finds :please:
