I know this probably isnt the right platform for this thing but i know alot of you guys are great at what you do thats why i come to you guys if its something that you guys dont wanna mess with i completely understand. But here i go anyways i am still working on my aunts garage being so stinking hot here in texas a little at a time the first thing i found was the propeller and was like what the heck is a propeller doing up here but threw it in the trash can then the next day in the back corner comes out the plane so now im back in the trash can looking for the propeller lol any ideas as to age or maybe how i can put it back together thanks for any help.

It looks like a balsa wood glider or rubber band prop powerd one. I don't see a prop, what is that dowell looking part. IMO judging from the paint and style it is from the 60's to mid 80's.

Not flyable, the aerodynamics are all wrong. It looks like it was/is a whirligig.

I'm pretty sure he found the prop and it is pictured next to the plane and in front of the plane in another picture. It is crude and cut out of a square block. Obviously, it is not flyable.
I would guess it was used on a weather vane or some other rod that it pivoted on considering the hole centered on the fuselage goes clear through. The rudder would catch enough wind to position it into the wind.

I see the prop and also thouhgt and and think the shape of the wings tail and fuselage are not astronomically designed or sound. A weather vain sounds good to me too. Is it made from balsa wood?

Kids toy from the 60's. the screwdriver looking thing I think is a handle/grip you would hold onto under the plane and the dowel would fit into the hole in the center of body. MHO.

The screwdriver looking thing is the prop.

This is a weathervane. Placed atop the garage it was designed to give you wind direction..... Kinda neet but crudely made...

The guys on Pickers would call that folk art.

LoL my wife calls it junk and says put that stupid thing back in our garage lord i cant mess up her deco man i need a mancave for my "Junk"
