Wood piles ..... ?? Wouldn't swipe any of Vernon's ... but here is a note about how dangerous it can be >>>>>>>>>>>

Up in Canada's NWT, at a remote HBC store, the store manager realized someone was stealing wood from the store stockpile.Annoyed, he selected a suitable chunk of same, took a large auger, bored him a nice hole and put in some stump powder.Concealed the hole and placed it back on the woodpile right handy for the nocturnal thief. Next day, early AM, a great ruckus a 1/2 mile down the road.People came boiling out of the cabin, stove pipe and a great cloud of ugly black smoke went skyward; pretty much destroyed the stove too I seem to recall. Hoo Boy ! No more wood stolen!

True story. I don't think it was ever reported to the police either; people tended to solve their own problems 30 years ago in the North.

:detecting:So now that Vernons got the idea, stay the heck away from his wood !
