I have hit a real coin dry spell in the farm fields lately. I was hitting lots of targets and digging flat buttons but no coins. I was trying to stay positive telling myself if I was finding those tiny buttons a coin would be easy. I went back to a farm field that has never produced for me. I decided to work close to the road which has a lot of can slaw. I dug a CW cuff button in just a few minutes. This tiny thing at six inches or better made me feel better. Then the next signal was a screamer and I got a nice LC at about two inches. I could see the detail on it immediately. I manged two Indians before calling it a day. They are 1874 and 1884. They both have decent detail but corrosion. Always good to remember the sweet sound of coins clear of the iron signals.
