I've found a few silver half dollars and it's a rush to see that big coin come out of the dirt. Great finds !

Not a whole lot of wear on old Ben..
That's one thing I notice about some
detected coins.. Some appear to have been
lost while not very old.. The dirt bath
seems to preserve them, as far as more wear..
I still haven't found one of those yet...
I like all those various types of old half
dollars..

Nice finds bud, especially the half. Hard telling what that old spot still holds.

I still have a lot of ground to cover. That 50 cent was right by the entrance. No side walks. It was next to a palm tree about 10 feet from the road. I found a wheat right after that about a foot away. 2 more days in my rotation then I get my 7 day off long change. Then it's

Yeah let's hope you find some more. Hard telling what's buried there. Finding an old half is a good clue.
