As I understand it you have 3 tones on an at pro, Can you shut them off as just to have 1 tone? Or is that the way its programed? If 3 tones and if you turn up the disc to get rid of pulltabs then you would only have one tone right>

The AT-Pro is set with 3re tones , You can shut off Disc out the Low / N the Mid N just have the Hi???? But your taking away what the Detector was Dezined 4R
I Like to hear it all, Its a 3re tone VLF , A Tesoro Tiger Shark is a one tone VLF unit, Mick

But you can notch out , the lows and mids, or visa versa. Notch discrimination.

Isn't the 3 tones in standard mode? I thought in Pro mode you get one tone that gets louder or softer depending on how far the coil is from the target?

Std mode 3 tones- low iron ,mid tone 5C and foil, tabs many relics, jewelry,--bell tone coins, jewelry. Pro mode low-iron, med same as std-- high tones coins, jewelry. Iron audio with some disc. can shift the coverage as per manual. Download manual at garretts website( explains it better.) its free.

I'll read the manual. Been thinking about getting the AT Pro.
