Nice hunt! I hope to be putting a few like that in my pouch soon. I also found an 1891 Indian on Saturday.
Going to grid the area next weekend. Lol if I can make it that long.

3 IH pennies and a Barber dime, WTG. I've found one IH since I got into this hobby and the Barber dime and other coins are still on my wish list. HH
 
To all who think that one must spend a lot of time online researching and aerial photos perusing, well, you must do a little. If one wants to make a living doing this, you must do a lot. I go to non-posted places and have some "guts" (i.e, hundreds could have swung at this site in Upstate NY, but chose not to because it's next to a "major intersection" and were embarrassed). Now, I chose to arrive at 0530 and leave at 0900; not many are up on a Saturday then and available to criticize/question what you are doing. Go to places that are old.
