says "limited stock" for every Tesoro detector on their website??? Looks like Tesooro is gone?????
 
Perhaps it is because their stock is not quite infinite. Like when you see a sign on a store that says everything is on sale. Semantics.
 
I agree, sale gimmick, better off with a small dealer anyway.
 
Check out some of the dealers here on the forum. You wont get the run around. You will be treated with respect. Give them a try... KEN
 
Its because everyone is watching these Metal Detecting shows & running out to buy a Detector thinking they're gonna get rich. Wait a few months there will be a lot of MDers for sale on Ebay when they get a taste of the real world of MDing.
 
It is a sales tactic to make you think, "You better not sit around and think about it because we have 'limited stock'. They are also implying, "If you do wait, someone else will buy it out from underneath you and this very detector you are looking at will be gone" Give me a break. There are plenty out there for sale besides this company. Take your time and look around at other companies that sell Tesoro. like John and Ken mention check out the other dealers here on this forum. Also, like MetalMiner points out - wait a short while and check the "For Sale" category here on Findmall. Best of luck to you.
 
:cool: Be careful using KellyCo. My experience with them was not good. They use a lot of gimmicks and hype. They seem to think we are stupid. I bought from them back in the 80's when I first started and everything was OK. Things started changing after Stu retired. I don't think they have the "Giant Catalog" offer anymore. They just ignore my emails and requests for any kind of literature. Sad.:(
Last time I talked to them I wanted to order a 4 inch coil cover. They wanted more for shipping than what the cover was worth and the guy would not negotiate.:thumbdown:
 
We received complaints that our website did not reflect our live inventory so now we are taking steps to do that. When we are low or out of stock we are letting you know. We stock more than anyone else and do our best to maintain a full inventory. With the Cibola for example, I personally walked out to our warehouse and we 10 on the shelf which for us is "limited stock". I have posted on this forum as well as most of the other forums that I am the sales manager and if anyone happens to run into any issues with Kellyco to feel free to contact me directly via email, PM or call me at 888-535-5926 (407-699-8700) ext 106 and I will do my best to resolve what ever issues you may have.

Reddirtfisher, I do apoligize that your emails have not received the attention they deserve. We are Blessed to receive many emails daily and do our best to respond to them in a timely manner. We no longer produce the "Giant Catalog" but do have a much smaller catalog I would be more than happy to send you. Like many other companies we have moved in the direction of ecommerce. I dont know where you heard that Stu retired, he is still going strong in his 80ies and here every day! As far as shipping is concerned, the sales reps put the information in the system and FedEx spits out the price. Let me know if you are still in the market for the coil cover?
