Evidently this is becoming a regular problem in that area of Alaska. Mike and Wayne, do you folks have wolves in your area? Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) :)

and get brave if they are not hunted often. We had that problem not far from here a few years back. The wildlife officers said to lock up the dogs and do nothing......as usual and same as they do with bears to keep the animal activists happy. A couple of locals shot a few of them and end of problem!
Coyotes are threatening dogs and children in Vancouver parks and it is a city of a million people! Some activist suggested that they capture Coyotes and neuter them, to which a local outdoorsman replied......."they are eating dogs not raping them you idiot!"

They are starting to become a problem, but like Wayne says, we handle our own problems .... so no problem :) :)

calm seas
