Since the recharging of the wireless remote is via a USB cable cord plugged into the Minelab charger, can the wireless remote also be charged using a Mac/Pc laptop USB port?
 
I'd recommend using the Minelab charger, as it regulates the input voltage, maintains a 500 MA output, and stops charging when the wireless charge is complete. However, according to the manual, it can be charged via a standard USB port.
