WM 10 Battery Question

Two questions for those of you who purchased the standard pack: Can you remove and replace the batteries that are in the WM 10? What size battery is in the module?
 
They are rechargeable batteries in the module and it might void the warranty if you
open it upto replace them. Not sure about that but you might want to check first.

Thanks for the reply.

The only reason I am considering removal of the batteries is because USPS policy will no longer allow shipping of Lithium-Ion batteries to my APO box. So if I order the detector then I need to have the Lithium battery pack removed from the box, and likely the WM 10 too.
I can have a company like DHL ship those items to my local address, but they will have to clear customs and I will pay import tax.
 
jgo, I forgot about the sending of batteries through the mail.Good luck on finding a way to do it and happy hunting.
