I caught alot of HELL for this image on another photographers web board.
FIRST: I am not selling this image and I will not profit from it. It's for our PRIVATE GALLERY.
Second: This image will not be sold for commercial or other purposes.

Why did you catch Hell on the other forum?

What was all the fuss about?

Oh some photographers were offended that I'd shot and image of the Amish with their religious ways and not desiring to be photographed......

Put that 'witnessed' vanilla ice cream cone in their prima dona face. That'll get their attention. If anyone truly knows the Amish and their true ways, they know that mentality went out in the 60's and maybe even the 1950's. Just ask an Amish person on the DL...they'll tell ya. The Amish world continues to turn and evolve...just like ours. I'd wager those Amish folk would be the first in line to buy that likeness. Nice shot Rick!

That shot really tells a story. A+++ Rick.

Don't know much about the Amish but they sure can be strange at times. They don't use electricity or motorized vehicles but will run their milking machines on gas and diesel generators. They don't like telephones but if you are an Amish who owns his own business you can have one in your house. Don't like photographs but you can see a few posing here: http://www.amishphoto.com/galleryindex.htm Different strokes.
