with the help of some detecting pals, i have now switched two coils on my excal

and jim from iowa and i did his last night.

we are not hard wiring these coils, we just cut off the old and left about 2ft. of the coil wire from excal. for connections.

i have to thank ray d from florida and phil - aka mr goldmaster for the helpful hints here and there, ESPECIALLY the clear adhesive shrink tubing - nice stuff.

one job is sunray S-12 and the other is replacement 10" minelab slim line.

Nice where do you get clear adhesive shrink tubing ?

Are the wires the same color code with the sunray S-12 ?
