Super-Traq as good as any Tesoro I have ever owned.
Probably the new ones will hunt better but there was
just something about it that I liked. I loved the
modulated audio, learn it and you knew what was in the ground. Anybody else feel the same as me?
HH to all, Richardntn

and the VCO audio PinPoint withOUT autotune is definitely superior to the Tej

I use the Lobo st and i have been thinking of geting a Cibola to replace my old silver sabre plus .would i be doing the right thing and how would you say the Cibola stacks up against the Lobo st.
Many thanks Les

while they hunted deep, I would rather have the ST.
I will have a Cibola here in a few days and let you know
how it stacks up. Best to you, Richard

Honestly, I'd probably trade my Cibola for an LST...still one of the best relic machines I've used. I do miss it with the 8" brown concentric.

Hey Richard, the LST still gets my vote as a Tesoro winner.. I think too many people never realized what a difference there was between the LST and all other Tesoro models when it came out. Most people think the Tejon was the first "deep" Tesoro. But in my mind, the big leap forward in performance from Tesoro was with the LST..I've tried a couple Tejon's and never saw the need to keep them in my Tesoro "lineup"...I haven't tried the Vaquero yet but it does sound like it could be something I might like.. In my dirt a manual ground balance is a must, so the Cibola probably wouldn't do much for me, but if you added the LST auto trak circuitry to it you'd have a winner.......Dave
