Witch coil is the best?

I got a bad coil on my excal, and I'm going to put another one on it, witch one is the best, the 10" tornado or one of the sef coils I'll be using it in the water 99% of the time and don't want a lot of drag on it. if their are some that have already done this, what do they like. Harold

You will get a lot of opinions on this. It depends on where you hunt, how you hunt and your own personal preferences. I really like my WOT as I can cover more ground faster...so less swinging.......other folks may not like it because they say it is too heavy......but it really isn't. I also like the 10 factory coil.......it is good too......and the 800 coil is nice for trashy areas. I like to switch off coils once in a while depending on where I hunt. Going to try the SEF next,

There is no one coil that answers all. But there are some that come close!

Like finders said, has alot to do where, when, how, and I guess your physcal condition. My choice for florida calmer waters would be the WOT. Further north in the Atlantic the only one you can get away with is the little 8 inch in, then wet sand to knee, maybe the 10 And The WOT just for the wetsand. With so much comp out there these days, I would give the WOT a try. I see Goodmore had a Sunray 12 up a week ago, that would be another good choice for Florida.....

We can learn alot from the OldMaster's
