Why didn't they build the wireless into the headphones themselves?
That way we wouldn't have to carry around the box with us.
 
I commend Minelab for doing it this way. You get to use YOUR favorite, comfortable, broke in headphones instead of having to accept what they would have provided. (can you imagine the uproar if they had just integrated the wireless into the current Koss headphones?)

I am hoping GREY GHOST or someone make wireless waterproof headphones with the wireless built in thou.

Making a wireless waterproof headphone would not be useful unless you only wade knee deep. You can not submerge the control panel and maintain wireless connection.
