I love detecting BUT the constant fight with the headphone wire as I move through heavy brush is driving me nuts! Are there such things as wireless phones that are compatable with metal detectors? If so,where can I get them?If not ,how do you guys deal with this problem? Thanks dem

I am new to MDing and have a question about needle bounce on my 3D. Many times I get needle bounce from coin down to iron or tab and back. What is my machine telling me?? Any help would be appreciated.Thanks....

Its telling you you have a deep rusty nail...there are ways to tell a coin from a deep rusty nails and read Mikes CZ page...It also may be telling you you have a coin on edge, odd token or object that it can't be sure of so it bounces...

I have a Word doc of a lot of posts from here that pertain to 3D. I have owned one for 2 summers now.

Get a Belkin FM transmitter and a small fm radio. Hook the belkin to the headphone jack on the detector. Plug your headphones to the radio. Clip the radio to your pocket. Tune radio and belkin to same frequency. Bingo. Wireless headphones.
