Wireless headphones

Ok I know this is getting old , but can someone tell me what are the best wireless headphones you can get that will work on an AT gold , Bluetooth , FM are whatever. I have the rapoo and their not all that good .

Look up Auvio and Rapoo. Both would be FM,
Bluetooth tends to have lag time that makes them near unusable.

The best ones I have ever used are these Auvio 33-283 headphones. I think the tdk 700 are similar but I also heard if you use a machine that doesn't have a threshold and there are no signals for a certain period of time they automatically shutoff(I don't know how true that is). I have a new set of the auvios for sale in the classifieds. You have to buy an inline volume control in order for them to shut off the external speaker on the ATPro. You can do a search and will find many great reviews about them with it. The ones in my picture are modified to not have to use the volume control so your setup will be a little different when finished. My ATPro also has the waterproof connector relocated to the back of the machine so when using the waterproof headphones the cord is out of my way as the stock setup irritated me. Hope that helps...

Thanks guys , saving the past I am thinking about your auvios but I don't know about having a in line volume control and I have the 1/4 plug on the back of my at gold how do you modify it to work without the in line volume control

You have to buy a 10k ohm resistor from radio shack. They come in a pack of 6 I think and it's only a couple bucks. You sauder the resistor in across the terminals for the male hp jack from the transmitter. You will need an 1/8 to 1/4 adaptor for the transmitter to the Garrett hp jack so you will have to decide the easiest way to do it. You can either make an 1/8 female with a piece of wire to a 1/4 male or I am not sure but I think they make an adaptor that would turn the 1/8 male on the transmitter into a 1/4. The issue there is it would have to screw apart so you could then sauder in the resistor. I am not sure Which route you want to take but just sauder one end to the tip connection and the other end to the other connection on the hp jack.

On my Auvio transmitter I opened it up and desaudered the 1/8 male jack the saudered in a wire lead and sealed it back up. I then saudered on the male ctx end to that wire and inside the end is where the resistor is installed(pic shows my modified transmitter). Mine is done that way because I hated how the stock hp cord ran on my ATPro and I wanted to still have a fully waterproof machine I could take underwater but have the hp wire out of the way. I ended up installing a female ctx end at the back of my machine and the wire runs inside the upper shaft and come out a small hole right by the stock waterproof connector and screws in just like stock. I then have waterproof gg amphibians but instead of them using the ATPro waterproof connector mine have a ctx end on them. I am not real good at explaining and it would be easier for me to explain if I had the regular connectors in front of me to see what I would be working with. I hope this helps at least a little...
