Wireless headphones

I posted this question on the GB Pro forum with no responses yet so will try posting it here also.----Can anyone give some info as to what brand & model wireless h.p. works best on the Gold Bug Pro? (no lag time, crackling sounds, etc)-----------Thanks, Del

Everything I have read says the 2.4 ghz is the only wat to go for no lag. The FM has lag and interference. The Bluetooth has lag. It is hard to find a 2.4 under $100. There is a set for $40 but I have not seen any reviews. The model is OA-G600 2.4GHz Wireless Headset Headphone w/ Microphone / Transmitter.

The ones in this link are the good ones.

Thanks Roland, I'll check in on them.----I'm trying to find out which ones would work best on the GB as it doesn't have a volume control.

You might want to try doing a search in the Sovereign forum for "wireless" and see what turns up. I know a while back some guys were testing various ones, finding cheap ones but with no lag. Around $42 if I remember right is the one a few people seemed to settle on. Do a search too for Kbron2000 (I think that's the right spelling), as he had found one particular pair that were that price and worked well.

But keep in mind, there are certain machines that certain wireless headphones don't seem to get along and work well with. Also, search for "wireless" in the modifications forum, as there has been talk in there too I believe.

One slick thing I saw, is that one guy throwing his Sovereign in a water proof Plano box when he water hunted, was using wireless headphones (same guy above), and thus he didn't need to use a clam shell to waterproof a headphone cord routing through the Plano box. Just the coil cable.
