Wireless headphones ... no big deal?

Willee - Texas

Didn't think wireless headphones were such a big deal on a detector but after using them on the V3 for a while have changed my mind.
The cord really gets in the way when you set the detector down and start to retrieve the target.
I have been spoiled on the wireless headphones and wish all my detectors had them.

Is there any other brand of wireless headphones that will work with the V3?

Can you use the wireless headphones and the wire headphones on the v3 at the same time?

I love the wireless phones also. Yes other wireless phones/earbuds will work(Radio Shack <$50 - not bluetooth). Not sure but I don't think you can use plugged/wireless at same time - although you can use multiple wireless simultaneously - not sure about that though. Have you considered the i upgrade? Well woth it in my opinion. Good luck to ya.

Plug in headphones will always work alone or in combination with Wireless headphones and multi users. Simply plug them in. V3i Owners Guide page 30.

Hmm, surprising what can be found in the manual and on board manual of the V3i.

Manuals! we dont need no stinking manual!
Real men know this stuff.

Actually, I did look thru the manual and since enabling the wireless headphones cut off the speaker, I assumed it would also cut off the headphone jack.

I was thinking of using the wireless headphones myself when someone else was using the plug in headphones for training.
I could hear what they are hearing and explain what the different tones were and what deep targets sounded like.
Using two headsets would be expensive unless you can use any bluetooth headphones with the detector.
