WIRELESS HEADPHONES FOR DETECTOR

Can someone recommend a good wireless headphone set that works well with
a Garrett GTI2500? I tried a pair of SENTRY phones and modified a plug, etc., but they didn't work very well. The sound was terribly distorted.

I have tried three set ups. But the one that works the best for me is the 33-1253's from Radio Shack. You will need to buy a 1/4 x 1/8 adapter.
I tried the Creative CB2530 Bluetooth set up but it had a signal lag. Meaning it would beep about 8 inches from the target. Although it sounded good, I just didn't like the lag.

Do you ever get any crosstalk or false readings on the detector while using these? I haven't heard anyone really praising the wireless, and I am curious as to why??
Thanks Khouse!

They work fine for me. No abnormal falsing. You can take them back if you don't like them. 30 day satisfaction guaranty. A 1 year warranty is like $8.00

I have a pair of i-phono bluetooth headset. they work perfect!

plug the dongle above in to the detector and velcro it to the arm cuff.

these headsets come with five different color inserts you can change.

Red (as shown), Blue,Green,Orange & White.
No interference and you can pair these up to four other devices!(phone, pc, etc..)
I picked mine up on ebay for $36 for both!

I'm using the bluetooth setup and love it. I had to re-adjust the tone to my liking. the headset is the spider and the dongle is from radio shack. A little pricey though. I got the head set on ebay for $65 ($100 at Radio Shack)and about $30 for the dongle. There is no lag that I can tell. I've used them on several short outings and the batteries have held their charge pretty good. Haven't got to try them out on a long outing though.
