Wireless Headphones for AT Pro

I recently purchased TDK WR700 wireless headphones and a Radio Shack adapter with volume control. Everything seems to be working properly except for the
volume. I have the adapter and headphone volume controls at maximum but the target signal is so quiet that if the wind is blowing moderately, I can hardly hear the
signal. My standard Garrett headphones volume control works perfectly. Anyone have any ideas on how to get more volume out of my wireless phones? I have
all new "energizer" batteries in the phones and transmitter. Dave.

[size=large]i've been reading that other phones suffer the same problem on the ATP. even the quality phones. so there may be nothing you can do.

It is an impedence mismatch problem...Are you also only getting sound out of the right ear??

HH,

did you turn the volume up as loud as it will go on the TD's? If I do that, they blow my eardrums out. recheck all the connections, and re-read the TD instructions.

pm me... I may have some to help...

John, you were sooo right. I did not have the volume on the adapter turned up; it was actually at the minimum setting. When I finally got it right, the phones
almost destroyed my eardrums. Thank you all for your help. I do appreciate it. Dave.

glad you got them working
