Wireless Headphones and the F5

Brewsir

New member
I just bought a pair of wireless headphones to use with the F5. When I first turn the detector on, the headphones are full volume relative to the volume control, but, they attenuate down to a very soft level within a couple of seconds, and the volume adjustment on them does very little. I've tried them out on my home theater and they work fine, they do not go quiet like they do with the detector. I'm reasonably sure the problem is with the detector itself.(Not to say that the F5 is defective) These are not bluetooth cans, I think they're FM. My guess is that it has something to do with the fact that the F5 doesn't have its own volume control, but, can't be sure.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue, and what the solution is/was, if there is one. I was thinking a small headphone amp may be the solution, but thought I'd check before I go back down to the store.

Your right they don't work without a volume control but you can get a volume booster and then they will work here is an example

Thanks for the input guys. The pair I have work really well, no lag at all. I just need them to be louder.
