wireless ETrac headphones

White's White's White's V3i with their $300 wireless headphones....

I just got a pair of Auvio wireless headphones that are AMAZING with the Etrac!

$80 dollars for the package! new in box!

Plug them in and they work. no BS. and 7 hours on a charge.

They are really comfortable and great because you have a 2 volume control. you can adjust the ETrac's volume (threshold) and then fine tune it with the headphones or for a quick adjustment.

Both the transmitter and the headphones are rechargable (can charge both at the same time!) split stock charge cable.

The two pictures are of my ETrac with the transmitter plugged in the back, covered by my Kovar cover. Other picture if of the transmitter and headphones.

No more wires! period! No more setting the detector down and the wire in the way of digging or pulling the detector over. LOL

Guess what? it also works on my Fisher F2, and any other detecor too...LOL.

Great addition to my Metal Detector arsenal...

Thanks for posting about these. I know a lot of people have been looking at these and thinking about them. From what I have heard, the shack doesn't stock/sell these anymore. Please keep everyone informed on how you like these (run time, charge time, signal lag, interference etc). I know there are still quite a few people out there that are not sold on these but I have heard nothing but good things about them. Good luck with them and HH -Marc

They are really good. Right now, in PA, the weather sucks and snow and I air test a lot indoors. No problem with interference. Only interference is from the ETracs chatter from the sensitivity too high... not the headphones

I've heard a LOT of people that have used these in the field complain about lag. I was looking in to these myself until I read all the negative feedback on them. I broke down and went with the Sunray Gold headphones that were recommended by someone I trust on [here]. I hope your hunts are flawless, and please post about your experiences when you get out on a hunt and use them. Thanks! I still might pull the trigger on a pair of these.

I got the same Auvio Headphones last year at Radio Shack clearence sale to use with my V3i and there is no lag with them at all.
But I like to use the SunRay Pro Gold head phones with my E-trac because they keep the outside noise completely out so I can consontrate on the tone better.

Interesting opinions on these headphones. Please keep this thread going with updates.

Only had my Etrac for 2 weeks but so far my Auvio's work just fine. Wonder if one could take the wirless circuitry and use it in the Koss' ?
The part number is 33-283, there's a 33-284 but they have a delay in them. The 33-283's work perfect but Radio Shack doesn't sell theme anymore...

there is no lag,,, my only dislike was the "on the ear" headphone style is just not for me,,,,,,
