Wireless Ear Buds Mod

I did a TDK WR 700 mod a couple years back that was an absolute flop!
TDK WR 700 Mod
Check out the link above..Well anyway, After doing some hunting this year
and using ear buds I decided to use the Parts from the TDK 700 mod and
make it compatible for use with my comfy ear buds.
Below are photo's of what it looks like so far. I still have to fasten the Battery
pack to the Lucite and figure out how I'm going to lighten up the board housing.
I have to turn down the volume on the board when using my ear buds but
i will have to check and see how regular headphones will sound....

Interesting idea, I've got a set of the TDK WR 700 you are working with and I just had a thought, if a fellow could take the reciever, battery holder and put it into a small enough container with a spring loaded clip you could clip to a shirt sleve, collar etc. and run a short length of wires to the ear buds and eliminate the headphones all together. Myself, I don't care for headphones at all. I live in AZ and for me when it gets over 110 degrees headphones are out. Any way let us know what you come up with. I'm thinking along the same lines.
Thanks for posting.

Here is the finished case...I cut the case down as much as possible and mounted and will mount a flatter
batter box soon....I will say one thing! These will blow your ears off no matter if your wearing the ear buds
or regular metal detector headphones....

I just made up a coiled cord/over ear combo.
A 1/4" connector, some solder and cable wrap and voila!

I incorporated a D-clip so it clips to my belt loop and it's good to go.
