Email Jamie at Minelab in Chicago and ask about possible repair. It may make sense to repair instead of replace. It just won't link up or won't turn on? Out of warranty I assume? Did you try to reset the WM10 with the button on the front?

If it won't turn on, it may be a shot battery. The internal battery is an easy replacement, check a few moths back on here for a how-to post.

The other day I went to charge my WM 10 and I thought something was wrong. I could not get any green light, even after 20 min of letting it sit on the charger, I tried different cords and could not get it to take a charge.. On a whim I reversed (turned around) the way the plug was in the wall socket...wallha! I could not believe that as there is not larger size to the plug stems like you would usually have. THis may not be the case with your setup but you may want to check this as I was about to say mine was kaput also. I would not of ever guessed that it would not charge having the positive on the wrong side of the charger. You get shocked both ways if you ask me.

good luck,
Shov.

Also for those unaware, on the front lower left is a hole with a line etched in to face plate on left side of hole, this is a reset button just like on DSL routers, if you use a paper clip and push in while it is plugged in you can do a reset and that fixes many issues with the WM10.

every now and then it's like my module loses connection and I get a low grunt through the speaker of the module anybody else have this happen?
