Wired Headphone Adapter Cable Mod

Sven

Well-known member
Had another Anfibio owner ask me about the factory wired headphone adapter. Noting the short cable was rather thin and not the greatest set-up for him.
So I had a thought and told him I would make up a couple, when I had time.

What I did was use a heavier cable with the jack extending under along side the armcuff. When the jack is mounted in place there, it allows the wired headphone cable to run along side the body, out of the way from getting tangled from trees schrubs etc. Also, when the detector is placed on the ground, the headphone cable is not stretched out to tug on the headphones.

I send one off to the other detectorist and he says it works perfect. I also submitted my adapter idea to Dilek at Nokta.....................

That looks good Sven. I was thinking about doing the same thing, since I like my Gray Ghost headphones better than the wireless ones.
It seems like I pick up more EMI with the wireless headphones.

that does look good but thats not what I was referring to it was the adapter plug for the wall that charges the machine I'm just concerned that it would void the warranty if I were to use a different plug to charge the machine I do like the idea of plugging it into a usb charge port though

You must have posted in the wrong thread, this has nothing to with charging.
My adapter is an alternative to the Nokta wired headphone adapter pictured here
