Wire Gauge for PP Switch

Hello,Everybody.
Working on this PP Switch for my ExCal 1000 Hip Mount.Seems it might work. Two Hour ride to the City(David,Panama) Walking in the Tropical Sun Door to Door. The Wire Pictured is pretty much all I could find.It has like,6 or Seven Wires in the Cable,I'll use 4 of them. Two for the Headphones Connect and Two for the new Switch(off the Circuit Board)..Does this Gauge look like it will be sufficient? It looks like what one would find for Headphone Wire.I think the Circuit for the PP Switch is Very low Volts/Amps.Am I correct? Thanks.Ken in Panama.

That will work just fine
