Winter work-out

Since spring is just around the corner, I was just wondering what sort of exercises people do to prepare themselves for the detecting season. For those of us who have have jobs that do not require much physical exertion (otherwise knows as government jobs)we tend to get a little soft in the winter. I am really looking for specific exercises for certain body parts like the back and legs due to the repetitive standing/kneeling we all do, although anything for the shoulders and arms would help too. Also, any tricks or tips that can reduce strain on the body would be a great help. Maybe we can compile a list of exercises or tips here and make this season more enjoyable for all. The longer we can stay out comfortably, the more goodies we can find.
