Winter time Hunt ting

New member
Its 98 deg f outside and no end in site I just want a diversion from heat, humidity and super hard ground. I hunted in the cold before, like a light frost with a whites 5000d. How does the v3i (just sent v3 for upgrades Saturday) Work in colder conditions? Were you out their enduring the cooled to better understand your v3i or your a hardcore v3er?

I was hunting in 20 degree F weather in the winter during some thaws. It worked flawlessly. However the digging required some dynamite. (yes I actually tried to dig in unthawed ground, it was kind of like trying to dig a foot thick nestles chocolate bar, frozen solidly) Basically an excercise in frustration, so I took my little toy with me to Texas, and California, where the weather was better, and the soil diggable.

It does stink to want to hunt so bad and conditions ain't the best. Winter is best for researching places to hunt .
