I have a 1870 house two doors down and their dump is on my land. I have pulled 100's of bottles out just sitting on top of the ground but don
 
Well, I have tons (well, OK maybe pounds) of coins to tumble and roll. I always buy a gold coin with my pennies that I dig each year. Well, another 2-3 weeks and it will be plain old FREEZING COLD! I sometimes get some relic hunts in the woods, as the ground is still accessible with a geologists hammer there. But, I will make coin rings again until the ground thaws....around April.
 
I'll probably just detect all winter - you can do that for about 11 and a half months of the year here in sunny New Mexico:devil: !!! For the other 2 weeks, I'll just sit around and admire the pictures of John's coin rings - and try to make a few myself.
