winter project.............

I have a 1870 house two doors down and their dump is on my land. I have pulled 100's of bottles out just sitting on top of the ground but dont think anything is in the 1800's. Found a few milk bottles with town names on them that I thought were cool. I plan on before fall ( I live in Michigan ) filling a 55 gal drum with I have in my walkout basement with dirt and then when I cant detect and start having withdrauls I can sift the dirt with a sifter I built and see if I can find some goodies.
My other winter project is to take all my clad I found this year and run it through my rock tumbler to clean them up. Most years back I'll use the clad to buy something collectable, This way I have something I can keep and look back on instead of just spending it on the gas or other bills.
Anyone else have any winter project to help pass the time when its too cold or the grounds to frozen to detect? lets here your ideas!!
