Here's an old postcard of the rest of the moat,before filled in.I'am [attachment 41328 Scanned Image-64.jpg]guessing it was filled,when the Coast Guard moved in.[attachment 41328 Scanned Image-64.jpg]This is a postcard of "Smiths Pool",largest Saltwater pool.This also fell to ruin,but in the late 40's.You will see its connection to Winter Island in the next photo.[attachment 41330 ScannedImage-65.jpg] Here's a beautiful air shot of Winter Island.See "Smiths Pool" on the upper left?
