good reading, click on the link below. There are some good treasure stories about treasure in Oklahoma. In the late 1960.s, I spent some time in the Wichita Mountains looking for treasure and gold, but never found anything but a few arrowheads. At that time, it was a rough, remote dangerous area to hunt in, and is probably still the same way. Enjoy the reading. Kelley (Texas) :)

Being as I am off of work for the day and I am surrounded by snow, ice, and 10 degree weather, I may just go get a fresh cup of coffee and dig into that story. Thanks for sharing Kelley. :)

you folks live, not down here in South Texas. We will be in the 70's today, but turning colder next few days with the highs only in the 50's. Once every few years or so, we will get a snow & ice storm, but it will only last a few days at most. The down side of not getting the cold winters like you folks get is that we do not have the big, exciting type of animals like moose or bears. The largest animal we have is the feral hog, and they don't have horns that you can mount on the wall or fur that can be made into a rug. We also do not have creeks where you can pan for gold all day, something else usually associated with cold weather regions. You folks live where lots of exciting things happen. Kelley (Texas) :)
