Usually 3 months, up to April.

Thats not so bad. Thats pretty close to how it is here in New York State! The pictures are wonderful!:garrett:

Very cool stuff.
I live in northwestern USA. We don't have much history here that goes backmuch further than 1900. In the city that I live in, the earliest permanant settler was in 1859 I believe. Prior to that mainly Native American Indians who didn't use much metal.

Wow that first photo looks like a small area here in Fl today (1-12-10) although the frost was not that heavy!

We had a simple 20 here in sunny "warm Florida" on the thermometer but this one area has small ponds and is low so the frost builds heavily.
