Theres something wrong here...did an evaluation this morning, I own 5 snow shovels, but only 2 detectors?....Heres a shot of my blue daily user along side a brand new one yet to be employed...how does a guy wear off 5" of a metal edged snow shovel?[attachment 306154 beforeandafter.jpg]

Snow hunting you have to bag your coil so the snow dont ball up on the end of it and make it weigh a ton..just a simple plastic bag from the grocery store over the coil and tied around the shaft works great....find a local active sledding hill or open water and swing away![attachment 306155 winter.jpg]

The room got colder looking at those pictures......ain't like that here..yet.
Those are some wide azz snow shovels. That one has worn down to a dozer blade.

Something to warm you guys up. In South Carolina it got into the mid 40s today. Took my new to me Golden uMax to the sports complex and got this little beauty.

Enjoy,

Took a look at the pictures and had to go to my closet and get out a wool shirt. It is 56 degrees this evening in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. I am Glad that I do not live up North where yall get all that White Crap.

Mudpuppy, I think we need to rename you to Snowpuppy. My wife and I are leaving Monday morning to go back to the Philippines till the end of March. I will be out of here for a few days untill I get back on the net over their. Everyone take care... KEN

Makes me glad I can get to a saltwater beach in the winter time. Even though it is a minimum of a two hour round trip, depending on which beach I hit, I can feed the addiction. Mud, I'm the opposite of you, 5 detectors (over 25 years) 2 shovels. Of course I live in a townhouse, the little bit we have to shovel is ridiculous. Though last year I was asked to find a silver earring that was lost in the snow , It turned out to be easier than I had anticipated. Artie

I use winter time when there's snow on the ground to go out and check out new spots. Snow shows off the landscape and terrain.
