Winter Gloves

Can anyone recommend gloves for diggin that will stay dry and warm but can still feel whats in a hole? and maybe a place to get them..

Thanks for any ideas

Greg

I use my regular garden type gloves with the plastic-dip covering along with a pair of surgical , rubber exam gloves under them. it works but your hands can sweat allot

Go to a sporting good store and look for hunting gloves that are made from neoprene. They are thin enough to feel out the finds and dig, warm enough for hunting in 30-40 degrees and as an added bonus they are completely waterproof. I stock up on them... They usually last a good 20+ hunts before the finger tips start to break down.

wonder if you dipped the fingertips in plasti-dip you could extend the life....

I wear the Atlas Therma gloves. They are the type with the latex coating over the fingers, but they are insulated more than most others of that style.

Not a bad idea at all. Actually that might be a good winter project, I think I will try it.
