i was at Jones beach new years day with my twin brother just to get out of the house had some light rods (in case herring were running -not) had a drop net in case any spearing were left -seen some but not in my net this was on inlet side - went to check out Jones beach -polar bears were just getting out of the water god bless them stayed for awhile then seen a few people setting up their dt of course i watched low tide no wind about 30 degrees man was i jealous not alot but good steady digging man with an excal women with mxt (i think) he was doing well she needed practice pinpointing still looked like they were having a ball (my wife wont do it-good bad i don't know) anyway got the fever went home an charged the excal and the dfx forgot the next day was wife's b day oh well

I'll tell ya my wife is very interested in my finds but won' detect for love or money...just dosen"t make any sense to me.....good luck hunting.......Dan
