I have loaded Windows 7 from XP and so far I really like it. I have problems but it seems to be mainly driver issues. I am in the process of reloading everything and of course there are not drivers available for everything yet. The way I use my machine I am used to reloading the programs occasionally but it still can be a pain.

I liked XP but so far, like this better. Lots of features I have not tried yet.
 
It handles graphics better also in general. Under XP on this system here, it will only let me display at 1024 x 728, but changing nothing other than booting up in Win 7 Ultra, It will let my display go to 1600 by whatever.... Really nice for graphics and a quick 1 click and your back to 1024 x 728. Text is to small for me in the 1600 mode, but the graphics if hi res are awesome. Also, go into the media mode Royal, then to the sample movie on the animals....It is awesome...Detail will impress you......
