Bought a new Dell it has 8,1.Per Dell and Microsoft Windows 10 was downloadable and would work flawlessly..

LOL Wrong.. Videos didn't work. Downloads was terrible. And over all viewing was not up to par...

Even Findmall had glitches when trying to view it... Jumpy could not set text size etc.. So wait awhile before your download of Windows 10
let them get the Glitches out. You have one year. I did it the first day.. MY BAD !!!

Thank goodness your given 30 days to revert back to your factory loaded programs . Mine as said was 8.1..Computer now works great after the reloading of 8.1

My Son tried it on his and said also when he tried it his wireless Router wouldn't work with it .I guess it had to do with the drivers for the router , would have to load different drivers to make it work or something like that..

Micrsoft did say not all features will work in all areas... But you would think videos would be playable on youtube and those linked on findmall Nope they won't work...

All Windows 10 does is take away from older versions. I read where you even lose DVD encoding so you'll have to pay for what you have now. MS is all about screwing people, I've had and build computers since the 80's and a ton of stuff used to be included that is not now. Another thing is the programs that "were" on your PC is now run online in the "Cloud" and you have to buy access.

That so called 'cloud' seems to be the trend these days. NO THANKS! They can keep their cloud. Why would anyone want their computer data on some uSoft cloud?
Its supposed to be a PC.... Personal Computer not a uSoft data mining computer. Same thing with Google, i use IXQUICK instead.

Still running XP arguably uSoft's best OS with the exception of IE, i use Mozilla instead.
Seriously considering scrapping uSoft and trying out LINUX.

Weird! I upgraded to Windows 10 several weeks ago and haven't noticed any problems. In fact I was impressed how well it all went and worked for once?

Does your videos work as should... Mine all said could not operate on the system...

VLC media player is a free download and will play dvd's and most video formats. We use it at work all the time. It shows a Win10 download on the site.

I upgraded from Windows 7 and haven't noticed any of the problems mentioned. My only problem is getting used to how it is set up.

VLC is good

think I might just stick to my trusty 7 does what I need it too, all sorts of clouds out there if you want to use their space to share files or save space.

what else does it do?? 10 I mean that's so special or does it just look different I hated 8.1 seemed like a lot of hard work to do what wasn't hard on 7.
