Just google it up and find your location. Windfinder posts real time and forecasts of what the wind is doing in your hunting area...so even before it gets light enough to go to the beach webcams, you can check out the situation, or plan a hunt accordingly. This site takes in data from all the anemometers all over the place, off shore buoys, land bases, etc. and is intended for surfers, kitesurfers, sailboarders, and the like. I have found it a very accurate way of planning a hunt, you can look at what the wind is doing at your location, or even look upwind a few hundred miles to see what you can expect. You all know you want to hit your special beach after a big ripping blow, and you know those places where the sand clears out after a certain speed, direction, and duration of the wind, sometimes for only a few days or maybe hours before it sands back in...the forecasts are pretty accurate too, so planning a successful water or beach hunt a day in advance is possible. Some days its best to just hunt the dirt when the wind is onshore at 60, and it saves a ton of time and gas driving out there to have a look.

Have you been using this site? Man. we got some surfers and windsurfers around here that show up at certain locations when the wind is really blowing, and its a good place to detect after they are gone! It should show you wind in the Mediterranean beaches and all of England too..
