Wilson Metal Detectors

 Hello everyone, ...I was wondering if anyone out there has any experience using Wilson Metal Detectors especially the new Wilson Coin Select. Please add any information you have about the performance of the unit, service department, and ease of dealing with the company. My first "real " metal detector was a Wilson/Neuman Daytona 5000 back in 1989. Any info would be appreciated. I'm taking a break from hunting at the present here in Oklahoma because the ground is hard as a rock ! No rain and extreme heat has put a stop to my hobby for now so I'm just doing some research. Thanks and Happy Hunting, RDF :detecting:

I think they are out of buisness.I have a R&C 4.Good and deep..But I think my coil has went bad.

:detecting: Hello BR549 ( Only us "oldtimers" know what BR549 is ) I just checked Ebay and searched for "Wilson Metal Detectors". Looks like they are offering a new "CoinSelect" from the factory. I wish they would promote this company and their units because they are great machines...and you are right...they will go deeeep !! You could probably get another coil for your machine by calling them. Best Wishes, RDF

I'll have to check it out.I tried multiple times last year to get in touch but never did.
My R&C 4 has at least a million swings on it.I talked with Mr wilson a number of times.Nice guy.
